Lucas lead replacer provides valve seat recession protection in the absence of leaded petrol. It provides a cushion between the exhaust valve and valve seat insert to prevent the valve from sinking or receding into the seat insert, which adversely affects compression. Lucas lead replacer also contains the same chemistry found in fuel treatment to improve fuel economy, lubricate upper cylinders, and effectively clean injectors. Improved combustion reduces NOx emissions in petrol, the leading cause of smog. Add directly to the fuel tank. Add approximately 100 ml of Lucas lead replacer to each 45 litres of petrol. A stronger treat rate will not be harmful. Treats 450 litres of unleaded and rare unleaded fuels.
