Serck Motorsport are the official appointed Nitrous Distributor in the UK, our supply is national to many customers and race teams. We are also building a new program for filling stations that are being set up throughout the UK mainland. We even have a filling station at Santa Pod Raceway as well as our Serck Motorsport facility in Hayes so you can fill up directly at the racetrack or bring it to us directly. Nitrous is by far the most cost effective way to produce massive horsepower gains with much more bang for your buck which is why it is so popular in the racing world.

How does nitrous oxide make a car go faster?

So the injection of nitrous oxide into an engine means that more oxygen is available during combustion. Because you have more oxygen, you can also inject more fuel, allowing the same engine to produce more power. Nitrous oxide is one of the simplest ways to provide a significant horsepower boost to any gasoline engine. By using the recommended jets by the manufacturers you can specifically tune your Nitrous System for the correct amount of power you need and see the benefits immediately once its activated by your controller.

How long does a 10lb bottle of nitrous last?

For a NX system, the calculation is you will use . 8lbs for every 100hp per 10sec. So if you are spraying 100hp you should be able to get 6-8 good 10 sec. runs out of a bottle.

Why do nitrous cars purge?

The purpose of a nitrous purge is to ensure that the correct amount of nitrous oxide is delivered the moment the system is activated as nitrous and fuel jets are sized to produce correct air / fuel ratios, and as liquid nitrous is denser than gaseous nitrous, any nitrous vapor in the lines will cause the car to “bog” 
If you have a pressure gauge that is visual from the drivers position it also helps to bring your nitrous pressure to the correct level.

Can you put nitrous on a stock engine?
